Yesterday, October 27, there was a meeting in Madrid between the Sustainable Edification Unit from the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA) and the LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project (LIFE-mBiG).
This meeting is part of the actions for governance and project transferability that are aimed to include the Nature-Based Solutions developed by LIFE-mBiG in legislation related to sustainable edification and allow their use once the project has ended.
The LIFE-mBiG project was presented, explaining what NBS have been or will be implemented. There was also a debate on possible synergies between MITMA and LIFE-mBiG.
Among the possible synergies, there was a discussion on the possibility to include the NBS developed by LIFE-mBiG in the Edification Technical Code (CTE) in the future. Moreover, both parties agreed in possible mutual collaborations to participate in events related to the project topic, and there was a review about other potential organisations that LIFE-mBiG could contact under the framework of these actions.
