The Gabriela Mistral public school, from Solana de los Barros (Badajoz, Spain) organised an Open Day to show the Nature-based Solutions (NBS) implemented by the LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project in this educational centre.

This event is part of the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Week 2023. During the morning of April 28th, three sessions were held so that the neighbours of the town and nearby towns, as well as the educational community (teachers, administrative and service staff, parents, students, etc.) of this school, had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of the NBS implemented in the school.

The event was attended by Francisco Javier Amaya Flores, Secretary-General for Education of the Regional Government of Extremadura (Spain).

This activity refers to the communication actions of the LIFE project, specifically to the sub-action of exhibitions that will be carried out in situ in the three pilot buildings of the project in Spain and Portugal.
