The LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project has been presented at the “Sustainable and Inclusive Construction” course organised by AECID and IETcc-CSIC in Montevideo, Uruguay

The Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), together with the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences (IETcc-CSIC), is organising a course on “Sustainable and Inclusive Construction” within the INTERCOONECTA programme, which this year will be held at the AECID specialised training centre in Montevideo from 17 to 21 April 2023.

This course is attended by experts from different countries and institutions. The course is coordinated by Angel Castillo (IETcc-CSIC), and has the following objectives:

  • Expand practices that integrate the science and technology of construction and its materials (concrete, cement).

Within the module-workshop 2, on “Habitability, healthiness and energy efficiency in building”, coordinated by Borja Frutos, Carmen Alonso and Darío Montes (IETcc-CSIC), a presentation on bioclimatic design and the return of nature to the urban environment and building, where the Nature-based solutions implemented by the LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project in the CEIP Gabriela Mistral de Solana de los Barros, Badajoz, is shown.
