LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project participates in the URBAN GreenUP International Conference

Jesús Muñoz, Principal Investigator of the LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project, has participated as a speaker at the International Conference of the URBAN GreenUP project, co-funded by the H2020 programme of the European Union.

The conference took place on March 29, 2023 at the Augustinian Theological Study of Valladolid. During the conference, the results, experiences, applications and benefits obtained in the course of the URBAN GreenUP project were presented in depth.

The aim of this meeting was to underline the importance of the implementation of Nature-based Solutions (NBS) as key elements of cities from a social, economic, environmental, health and well-being point of view. National and international experts in NBS shared their knowledge and pooled their experiences and developments with the aim of setting up a collaborative future. At the same time, citizens had the opportunity to learn about the significance of these applications carried out in the project demonstrators, Liverpool (UK), Izmir (Turkey) and Valladolid (Spain).

The LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project was present in the third and last session of this event, in which several international professionals discussed the possibility of replicability of the NBS developed in the framework of URBAN GreenUP and shared the lessons learned from the implementation of NBS.
