On 1 and 2 October 2021, the long-awaited 1st National Meeting of Teachers for Future Spain (TFFS) took place in Madrid. A group of teachers that works on a non-profit basis in educational campaigns on climate change, organising actions and activities aimed at achieving sustainability in schools and their environment.

The meeting took place in the facilities of the Royal Botanical Garden thanks to the collaboration between TFFS and the LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project.

These working days focused on sharing educational experiences and addressing topics such as climate action and communication, sustainability or Nature-based Solutions. Future projects related to the topic were also presented.

Among the presentations there was a space to share the LIFE-mBiG project and to establish collaborations with teachers from different educational centres in Spain. The project’s intervention can be viewed at this link, as the event was streamed.
