The Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) has awarded the LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project the IV Best Local Biodiversity Practices in the category of Flora.
The aim of these awards is to compile and disseminate the actions carried out by Local Bodies belonging to the +Biodiversity Spanish Network of Local Governments in the field of biodiversity conservation and enhancement. In this way, the work carried out in the implementation of prototypes of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for climate adaptation and improvement of the well-being of students carried out in the Gabriela Mistral Primary School in Solana de los Barros (Badajoz, Spain) is recognised.
The deputy delegate of the Rural Development and Sustainability Area of the Diputación de Badajoz, Lorenzo Molina, was in charge of collecting the award at the event held at the headquarters of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) in Madrid.
