Today, researchers from the “Building Systems and Habitability” group of the Eduardo Torroja-CSIC Institute installed sensors and instrumentation to measure the impact of the green roofs implemented in the pilot school in the municipality of Porto in the framework of the LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project. The results will complete the studies already carried out previously at the pilot school located in Solana de los Barros, Badajoz.

Improvements in the thermal resistance of the envelopes will serve to create sustainable building patterns and resilience to heat waves caused by the harmful effects of climate change.
