The LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project meets with technicians from the Madrid City Council to discuss the possibilities of collaboration of this local entity with the project and its partners.
The meeting was attended by staff from the Royal Botanical Garden (RJB-CSIC) and the Eduardo Torroja Institute of construction sciences (IETcc-CSIC) involved in the project, as well as Luis Tejero and Marisol Mena, both from the Climate Change Department of the Madrid City Council.
A draft programme of the final congress of the LIFE-myBUILDINGisGREEN project, which will take place in September 19-21 2023, was presented at the meeting. The contents and logistics of the event, the distribution of tasks among the organisers, as well as the deadlines for registration and possible speakers were discussed.
This meeting was also used to explore different ways of future collaboration between CSIC and Madrid City Council in the field of Nature-based Solutions, reaching a commitment to present joint project proposals between both entities.
